Paris Hotel with Children

Traveling to a different continent can be intimidating, specially when traveling with children. My family and I went to Paris recently and here’s our recommendation based on location, price and family friendly.

If you are traveling to Paris, you will soon find out that finding a hotel room that sleeps more than 2 people within a reasonable price is challenging!

Our family stayed at Montfleuir Hotel where we spent 7 days. We had one room that sleeps 4 people and the truth is that the rooms are not too big, but it is big enough for a short stay, specially with the price point and proximity to places.

The hotel is so close to Arc De Triomphe you could literally walk there within 2-3 minutes. If you haven’t been to Paris before, then you should know that the Arc and Champs-Élysées are right next to each other. Champs is basically an outdoor mall/strip full of restaurants, luxury stores, etc which made our stay even better since we were able to walk to all the restaurants at any given time of the day without having to jump on a taxi or Uber.

Another big plus about staying at Montfleuir Hotel is that there’s a bakery right across the street that has the best breakfast sandwiches and coffee for a very good price, specially if you compare the prices to anywhere else. My family and I ate ham and cheese baguettes from this bakery everyday!

If that is not enough reasons to stay at Montfleuir Hotel, then you should know that the metro station is right under de Arc and 2-3 minute walk from the hotel. Riding Ubers or taxis can get very pricey and there’s a lot of traffic in Paris, so you do want to be able to have quick access to the metro.

We actually used the metro to go from Paris to Disney and it was the most convenient way of transportation. Check out my Paris to Disney and Things to do in Paris with Kids blog for more info.
